The Start of a Bright and Brand New Day

This web site shows its audience the work of artist Els Brandt.  What is presented here is a small collection of paintings in different media like water colour or acrylic. Els paints many subjects and will take on any challenge that comes her way.

For those, who wonder about the fact that Els uses the artist name of Catharine Dubois: she decided to use her maiden name (van Houten) on her paintings and translated this name in French. This made the name a lot easier to pronounce for the French and Anglophones.
